I travelled the other direction last summer, from Gordes (near Bonnieux) to Montecatini (mid-Tuscany). I actually flew out of Marseille and on to Pisa (via Milan) with auto trips at both ends ... and managed it within one day. (Long story, but I needed to get there ASAP) It's a long way! You'll need to get a detailed map to check out your options. Remember that distance may not be covered as fast on some roads in Europe as might be possible in North America. I don't believe it would be possible nor advisable to even try to make the trip in one day. Is it important that you get to Bonnieux quickly? If not, there are several great options for making your trip there a wonderful adventure in itself.
