|Subject: Good hotel service (was: Lack of service)|
You asked where we recently experienced good service. I have wanted to write about the Trevalsa Court Hotel in Mevagissey, Cornwall, England since our return in September, but an auto accident 4 days after we got home slowed me down. Now you have given the opportunity.
The Trevalsa Court Hotel, on a hill above the South Cornwall working fishing village of Mevagissey was a great find. The staff were spectacular. From the owners, to the managers, waitresses and housekeepers, these were the nicest, friendliest, hardest working hotel staffers that we have met in a long time. Every inch of the hotel and grounds were in perfect condition and were really lovely. Everyone was helpful, kind, and friendly. And the hotel ran about 140USD a night for a room with a sea view. There was ample safe parking and we could walk to the village on the coastal trail or via the street. This place was the find of our trip.
Thanks for the reminder to give them the praise they deserved.
Also, we have just returned from our family reunion weekend in Naples, FL and the Inn at Pelican Bay was wonderful, just as other Ziners had reported. The price was great, the hotel was beautiful, and the staff were all wonderful. Again, every bit of the hotel was in beautiful condition and all the staff did a very wonderful job. We highly recommend this hotel. We didn't see much of Naples, but the hotel was great!
