Subject: English Gardens - and wine sellers
Hi to all the garden-loving Ziners - and the wine buffs among you,

It may be that you all know about the Hidcote Manor Garden, a National Trust property near Chipping Campden in of the Cotswolds.

If not, you may find it worth a visit. It was designed as a series of outdoor rooms, and the changes as you walk through from one section or room to another are remarkable. We are not gardeners but spent several very pleasant hours there a few weeks ago, even though the day itself was cold and grey.

You can check it out by entering Hidcote Manor in Google search or using:

If you happen to combine an interest in gardens with a passion for the fruit of the vine, then do use the visit to Hidcote Manor as an opportunity to pop into Charlie Bennett's wine store in the High Street of Chipping Campden. It is not an enormous space but it is crammed full of wine treasures from all over the world and is a browser's or a buyer's paradise. We always make a detour when anywhere within reach to see what is on offer and always find something to tempt us, either an old favourite or a new label. Website at:
