I guess when I made my comment about Paris being inexpensive, I was referring to a bang for you buck situation. Last spring, we took our daughter to Paris, stayed six nights, and even though our trip was put together by me, I looked at it as a sort of package, costing us about 600 USD per person, flights, rooms, transportation, museum passes and airport transfers included. When you look at it like that, it isn't expensive. Or so I tell myself. ;-l
We get a lot of ads for inexpensive flights to Paris during the winter. I can rationalize the expense if I work at it!
