Subject: Paris expensive?
Hi, Lidia.... I'm just curious what it was that you found most expensive in Paris -- the food? It can be, but my husband and I really only ate one full meal a day, as we enjoyed baguettes from the boulangeries and the crepes at the many creperies. My husband is hooked on the banana/Nutella variety :-) We were always snacking.... Croque Madames at Café Deux Maggots and croissants or pain chocolat with a pot of tea at other cafés along our way. We loved the café near the Trocadero, La Carette and the tea room, Ladurée, located near the Opera. You can also put together a great picnic from the supermarché much cheaper than a restaurant meal.
