|Subject: Re: Worst Travel Advice?|
The first time we went to Europe in 1970 we received all kinds of advice.
The worst was take your own toilet paper. It wasn't like we were going off
to some backwater. We were in London, Paris, Zurich, and Athens. We were
gone 6 weeks so that was a lot of toilet paper, most of which we left at our
hotel in London in a large suitcase with a lot of other stuff we never
needed. We learned that there are well stocked stores in Europe!
I also bought my husband special quick drying underwear from Marshall Fields which took longer than anything else to dry!
