Subject: Re: Packing light
Hello to all, I am a grandmother, in my 70s and I have been going to Europe off and on since the 1950s. I take the smallest suitcase I can find and it must have wheels. Without wheels it can become a nightmare. I often go alone on tours. I take old clothes because they are usually the most comfortable and if they get lost somewhere along the way no big deal. Also no one but me knows that they are old clothes. A pair of sandals, a pair of walking shoes I wear on the flight. A good purse with good straps that will go across my chest. One that will take a small camera. The only person robbed on my tour to Italy was an English gentleman wearing a fanny pack. For me that is a no-no. Everything must be mix and match. Have a great trip. M. Auwaerter.
