|Subject: Re: Holiday Windows|
You mentioned the SPCA exhibiting adoptable dogs and cats at the old Gump's store in San Francisco. I believe this tradition has been continued at the Nieman-Marcus store on Union Square. At least two times in the last eight years we were visiting the City just prior to the holidays and the windows were cleverly decorated and exhibiting SPCA animals.
In fact, on the last occasion that we walked over to view the cute little kittens and puppies there was a loud disturbance going on in front of the entrance to Neiman-Marcus. It turned out to be a demonstration by PETA against Neiman-Marcus' selling of furs. How's that for irony?
