|Subject: Travel warning concerning France|
This warning comes from the British Foreign Office this morning:
Most visits to France are trouble-free. Road hauliers in France are threatening industrial action which could have a severe effect on road travel throughout France. Action is likely to begin on the evening of Sunday 24 November. Hauliers have threatened to blockade petrol refineries, border crossing and ports and slow down or block traffic on motorways. Petrol shortages are likely and access to Channel ports could be severely disrupted. Further information is available in French on the motorway radio station (FM107.7); some essential information will also be broadcast in English.
