Subject: Re: Travel Guidebook for Greece?
Hi Mei-Ching - We go to Greece every May (when we can) and always depend on the Rough Guides --- their Greek Islands; Crete; Rhodes and the Dodecanese plus the East Aegean; and their main book on Greece. We have used the Lonely Planet, but for Greece we do not find it as comprehensive for our use as the Rough Guides. The Michelin Greece is always a good book for facts to find and use quickly.

For trekking - we have used the Lonely Planet's Trekking in Greece and have found it useful for hiking!

When are you going? If you want information on any of the islands that I've listed below, I'd be glad to help. For the mainland - with the cities - info. can be found in any of the guide books.

Here's a list of the islands that we've visited: Samos, Patmos, Rhodes, Karpathos, Crete, Santorini, Mykonos, Delos, Naxos, Paros, Ios, Sifnos, Fologandros, Amorgos.

You'll LOVE Greece!!! - It's a special place. Susie Newton, MA
