Subject: Re: Memorable Train Trips
Hello fellow Ziners

The weirdest train trip I ever took was in 1986 or so, from Montego Bay to Kingston, Jamaica. The train travelled slowly through the mountainous, lush centre of the island past the coffee plantations. We could see the locals along the way, and were entertained by a man, walking up and down in our railcar, reading from the bible in a loud voice. Then we had to get off the train at one point, walk along the track and get on to another train to continue our journey!! We almost missed our flight back to Canada because the train was so slow.
