|Subject: United Airlines|
Hello Fellow Ziners,
My daughter has two tickets to Amsterdam with United Airlines for the end of March. Does anyone have any thoughts about the situation, or words of advice about what she can do to protect herself? Everything seems so uncertain.
We were caught in the Canada3000 bankruptcy a year ago and we haven't received our money back yet. We're just thankful that we didn't get caught over there. We booked on another airline for a later date but the time is important for her because they are going for a wedding.
Since tickets are non-refundable unless you have some disaster that is covered by your trip cancellation insurance, is there anything she can or should do? Besides praying for United, I mean.
