|Subject: Re: New Member in Australia wants tips on UK|
I missed you initial post and I am only assuming that you will be visiting the UK.
My wife and I spent six weeks in travelling throughout England and north Wales. I am currently working on my travelogue and loading all our photographs onto a storage site. Unfortunately I cannot, due to work commitments, spend as much time as I would like and consequently it will not be completed until well into the New Year.
As for Hidcote Manor, it is run by the National Trust, and is well worth a visit. We visited the gardens in September, probably past their best, but we still had wonderful time wandering around the grounds.
We also visited stone circles, some well known sites and some not so well known. I am also in the process of loading photographs of two burial sites we visited.
If I can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to ask.
