Hello! Here is my introduction: I'm planning to travel this summer with my family (spouse, 6-year-old daughter) to Slovenia and northeastern Italy. Most of my travel experiences in the recent past have been in Germany, Italy, and the western US (skiing or hiking). I'm also interested in lodging that's an alternative to hotels, such as apartment or house rentals or farmhouse B& B's, and trips that focus on learning about the food & wine of a particular region.
