Subject: Best area of Rome for newbies? |
My husband and I are taking our first trip to Rome in May, and
received a gift certificate for an apartment rental service (run by
the people who own the Beehive). We're hoping to walk as much as
possible, taking the Metro when our dogs commence barkin', so we'd
like to stay in a neighborhood that is reasonably central to some of
the major sights, but also reasonably safe. I hear that the Termini
area can be a bit sketchy--so where should we be aiming for, Romans
and experienced Rome travellers?
