Mark was absolutely correct about there being no need for power converter or transformers for her electrical devices. However, for the most part the electrical outlets she will encounter in Mexico have the old-style configuration; that is they accept the plugs in which both prongs are the same size. Whereas, almost all devices in the U.S. are configured with one prong being larger than the other. Apparently, this message is coming to late for your daughter who will be able to incorporate her search for the adapter plug into her curriculum. Usually A Trip to the Hardware Store or Un viaje a la ferreterķa comes much later in the course ;-)
So, where is your daughter studying? Near Mexico City, Cuernavaca perhaps? Do you plan on visiting her while she's down there?
