Michele - The hotel Barcelo - in my opinion - is not in a good location,
except that it is over the train station.
We last stayed at the Hotel Balmes Mallorca 216 Barcelona, Spain 08008 Telephone: 011 34 93 451 19 14 Fax: 011 34 93 451 00 49 E-Mail: balmes Web Site: www.deerbyhotels.es We got a good rate by using their web site. The hotel is in a very good location, not in the old town, but near the metro, good restaurants and tapas bars, etc. Another generally recommended moderate price hotel is the Hotel Gaudi. I am trying to remember the names of some others and will let you know if I can think of them. Mark |
