Subject: Caribbean cruising

Hello folks, We are travelling to the Caribbean at the end of this month and will cruise for seven days. Any hints on visiting Cozumel or Merida? We are four people and would be interested in renting a car or hiring a taxi to take us around the island. We do not want to be part of a tour. Any suggestions would be most welcome. Linda H.
