Restaurants in Toronto! Where to start?

For bistro, we frequent Le Select on Queen Street West. For magnificent mussels and top notch service, try Cafe Brussels on Danforth near Broadview. The place is gorgeous as well. Very worthwhile. The string of restaurants on King West in the theatre district include Kit Kat, always a favourite, and Marcel's Bistro upstairs from Le St. Tropez. All three have very tasty food.

For upscale, you absolutely cannot beat Avalon (on Adelaide?). It's pricy but special.

Our favourite Italian restaurant is Spoleto on Colborne near the St. Lawrence Market. For fun, try Gio's on Yonge Street north of Eglinton.

If you like Indian food, try Biryani on Wellesley (across the street from the subway station, so very accessible).

There's no end to good food in Toronto. Enjoy.
