Subject: Re: Las Vegas
Greetings!

I would definitely stay on the Strip - there are also several Las Vegas websites where you can book cheap hotel rooms. We took a cab down to the Fremont Street area one evening for the light show which is free and a must see. They shut down all the lights on the casinos while it's going on. All the good shows are on the Strip and there's also a shopping mall. We always stay at Harrah's because it's smack dab in the middle of the action centre strip and right across from Caesar's Palace (and cheaper). The Imperial Palace is right next door to Harrah's and would be cheaper yet but it's getting pretty old, although it's very popular with package groups. And you can ride the free trolley up and down the Strip.
