|Subject: some advice please|
I am a new member from sydney austalia. Next year my wife and I plan to spend up to a year in the Uk and Europe. Our basic oprions are to live in london or surrounds and make regular trips to the continent or to buy a motorhome and travel around. How practical is the second alternative for a year? Of concern is cities with a large vehicle: confinement to a motorhome amd camping sites; and just getting tired of transient living. We last did this 30 years ago for 4 months only. The attractions however are the freedom and the complete change from day to day urban routine in a familiar cultural environment.Cost is a factor both ways esp. given the parlous state of the aus. currency (improving a bit now!) Has anyone out there had to make a similar choice?
