Subject: Travel Food
Hello Fellow Gourmets:

With the airlines trying to save money by either eliminating on board food service or charging for that service, what do you plan to do on long flights? For years our daughters brought their own food on board; we have chosen the airline meals which, in our humble opinions, have gotten considerably better over the years. Now that food service may become a paid option will airport terminal passenger runways become the source of prepackaged travel meals? What do you plan to do? Will trail mix become the staple of the air traveler? Will self-heating foods be considered security risks?
