Subject: Red Cabbage, Puerto Vallarta
Carol, you may recall when I posted my list of PV restaurants, I suggested the Red Cabbage. We ate there the first year it opened. Lola Bravo, the owner, used to manage Los Cuatro Vientos Hotel up on Matamoros and we found out about her new restaurant from Gloria Whiting, owner of the hotel. I do hope you got to meet Lola.

Our most memorable evening there was our first visit on a Super Bowl Sunday where the menu was an original from the home of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, very authentically Mexican. Lola's restaurant has managed to survive despite many excellent eating places in P.V. and I'm sure it's because not only are quality meals served but they are also authentic.
