Gail,

As to Disney vacations being a stretch for some, I mis-communicated.

I'm always happy to meet anyone who travels anywhere, and I nearly always have something to learn from them. As a case in point, I did find it sad and surprising to meet educated, affluent people who take their children on Disney vacations every year as their family trip, and have never explored any other destination as a family. Several mothers explained to me that they get to choose their own grownup vacations, why shouldn't children be allowed the same right to choose? One woman, a resident of suburban Boston, told me her kids didn't want to go to New York, California or Europe, because it wouldn't be entertaining enough. I know this sounds judgmental, but I think this is lazy parenting. Different strokes for different folks, I know.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
