Subject: Re: Paris Apartment
Janice, We are new to Travelzine so this is my first attempt at helping someone. We stayed in a delightful apartment and area in Paris a couple of years ago which I can recommend highly. Of course, it all depends on what you like.

We stayed in La Terrasse for about $900 for a week. It is in the Marais district right on rue de Rosiers. It is not too far from Place de Vosges, Bazaar Hotel de Ville, grocery store on rue de Rivoli less than 10 min. away. Right on Rosiers are a lovely bakery, several restaurants (the schwarma place next door is fantastic!), many stores---and yet when you close the door to the bedroom is is nice and quiet. It opens onto a little courtyard--pretty to look at from the bedroom door but with all the windows from the dozens of other apts. looking down on it we felt like we were in a fishbowl. Got some lovely breezes through their though. It was furnished with every thing we needed and was very clean and cheerful.

Hope this helps. I would be happy to answer any other questions you may have as it is always fun and kind of a nostalgia trip to share one's experiences!
