|Subject: Re: Introduction - New member in Paris with question about the south of France|
Thanks for the welcome and hi to everyone!
I should have made it clearer that I have actually been living in Texas (Euless) for the past 12 years after my 6 years in Paris (with a year in London in between!) It's been a chequered past!
I studied to be a national guide of France which was wonderful but as a student there wasn't able to actually visit all the places I studied! Especially the south. I have only been to St. Aygulf, St. Tropez, Ste. Maxime, Port Grimaud. However, I have a baby now and my husband and I would like to return to France with him in June (he will be one). We are desperately researching the best place to go that will combine beach with culture and not having to necessarily rent a car (but that's not ruled out). I would also prefer a hotel but perhaps one with a bigger room or even two rooms for our baby to sleep separately from us. We're not asking much are we? We are prepared to spend a bit more as I'd prefer to stay in a 3-4* hotel. Been there, done that with the el cheapo deals!
Thanks for any advice you can give and thanks for admitting me to the crowd!
Bon voyage a tous!
