|Subject: Car Rental in Italy|
I hope those of you on the East Coast of Canada and the USA are thawing out. I heard that Badger NewFoundland, flooded and then froze solid! Sheets of frozen ice have replaced flood water in buildings and cars.
I would like to know if $850 is a fair price to rent an economy car in Italy for two weeks in the summer. I realize prices our higher than in the USA, but this was a bit of a shock. I just want to check before I finalize the deal.
Oh, I was offered a free phone with the car. My free phone will cost $35 to ship to me and for me to ship back, and $30 to activiate. I can buy a cell phone for Europe that uses pre-pay cards for $99. I think I know what I will do. :)
