You don't have much time for a big city like Seattle. I suppose I would limit myself to the downtown/waterfront area. The UnderGround Tour is interesting and amusing. If you are into history, the Klondike Museum near downtown is also good. This is a National Park Service museum. They always do a good job. You might want to visit this museum before going up to Alaska.

Is your hotel on Lake Union near the cruise ship pier? I thought the cruise ships tied up on Elliot Bay.
