Subject: Safety concerns abroad |
Hi all,
For those of you who have some fears for their safety abroad like me, Travelsmart magazine in their Feb. issue, listed a site where you can get information on trouble spots. It is the same system that the World Bank and about 170 corportion use. http://www.iJet.com or call 877-606 iJet. For $25 you will get a pre-trip briefing and once you're abroad warnings sent to your cell phone, pager or e-mail adddress. I have friends who just came back from over a month in India (one of State's Dept's dangerous countries), and they were not on a tour, and they had no problems. Elena |
