I was born and raised here. Although at this moment, with single digit temperatures, I cannot vouch for the weather, the city is still magnificent.

There are few waterfronts to rival the miles of park and beaches. Our skyline is one of the most beautiful I have seen, and I have had the good fortune to visit many U.S. coastal cities along with Asian, European and North African ports. We have world class museums of every type--Science and Industry, Natural History, Art, Marine, Astronomy. We have diverse ethnic neighborhoods and great restaurants. In the warmer months, it is possible to spend almost every weekend attending one neighborhood festival or another.
