Subject: Understanding Italian reservations |
Ciao a tutti!
I need a bit of help understanding a reservation confirmation I received from a small hotel in Italy. They do not speak much, if any, English so I must use my pathetic Italian when I communicate with them. We had requested a room for the nights of July 12, 13, and 14, leaving July 15. Our confirmation reads that we are confirmed for the days of July 13, 14, and 15. By American standards this is a mistake. However, is it possible that Italians use a different method and confirm for the day after the night's sleep? I guess I am hoping to not have to write another message in Italian, but I will if I have to do so. A presto, Paul Near Seattle |
