|Subject: nyc eating and shopping|
to eat at a truly good new york restaurant you would need reservations at least one month in advance. you may be able to get in one for a lunch or very early evening without a reservation, though. denise and i travel to nyc quite often (just an hour from home)and have numerous restaurant names and addresses that we'll forward to you. as for shopping, our tastes tend to greenwich village and tribeca. soho is also neat, although a little touristy for us.
