|Subject: The condition of US Air|
Pardon the intrusion but I received a direct inquiry
from a nice lady about my opinion on US Air and I
deleted her email - argh.
For the person who asked about US Air, they lost more money in January than they expected to but they are still looking much better than United simply because their unions have proven to be MUCH more willing to make the necessary changes.
Out of the top seven carriers in the nation, the management of five have asked their pilots to take a pay cut. Only US Air pilots have agreed to the amount requested. ALL others are balking completely or agreeing only to a lesser cut.
Mark my word, pay cuts WILL take place for. The only question is - will it take place before OR after an airline files bankruptcy?!
