Subject: Re: Paris and manners |
Just one silly note to add... We can all relax and know that perhaps one can
view manners from the dogs of it's population...
Has anyone ever noticed how civilized and well-mannered the dogs of France are? They can and do go everywhere with their owners without barking, sniffing or demanding. I am an animal lover in general and a dog lover in particular and I do so love the way dogs are family and are taken into restaurants without any problem. Perhaps the discipline that is taught to their dogs is also taught to their children... We have always loved traveling in France and have never had a problem. We, too, try to learn a tiny bit about faux pas and major blunders so as not to offend anyone. This just makes good travel sense. Susie, Newton, MA |
