Hello Frances, My daughter stayed in Hotel Madeleine Opera in Paris a year or two back, and on her recommendation we have chosen to stay there next month. It is 83 Euros for a double room. Their fax number in Paris is 47 42 89 76. The don#t have a web page as they are just a small fry. Another budget hotel I had heard that was nice was Hotel Denice (or is it Denize).
