Hi eveyone,

Ask your optician for a copy of your prescription in case you lose or break a lens.

But if your glasses are only for reading/computer work, consider investing a few dollars in the magnifying glasses that are readily available in chemists and supermarkets. They don't damage your eyes if you use them for limited periods and if you lose or break them, they'll only cost a few dollars to replace.

The bonus? Assuring your hosts that the glasses weren't expensive or irreplaceable and the lost lenses, whole glasses or just tiny screws they may find after you leave, can be thrown out with the daily garbage!

Cheers
