Subject: Re: Santa Fe Dining

New Mexican food is the best in the Southwest. The sopapillas are marvelous!

Santa Fe: Teresita's Near old train station Albuquerque: (one hour south of Santa Fe) Go to Old Town and eat at La Placitas (very old historic building) Taos: (one hour north of Santa Fe) Trading Post Cafe--on right side of highway as you come up from Santa Fe. It is really before your get to Taos at Ranchos de Taos.

You also asked about Las Cruces: Go to Old Mesilla (not far from Las Cruces) and eat at La Posta. Its previous visitors have been Kit Carson, Billy the Kid, and Pancho Villa.

Good eating!
