Subject: Re: Concorde
Hello, About 10 years ago my father, sister and niece were taking the QE2 to England and the package from Canada included return flights on BA. I heard that BA was offering an upgrade to the Concorde on the flight home for only $1,000.00 a person and I talked them into taking it. I have never forgiven myself for not going with them at that time, but always figured I would get around to it later. They said from check-in in London (they have a private Concorde lounge there) to the time they landed in North America, it was amazing, although the plane seemed very small on the interior. Food was to die for, service wonderful, and the thrill of flying faster than the speed of sound - - - - -!!!!. I have always said that the Concorde would be my ultimate travel fantasy, however I suppose now it will only be that - - a fantasy. Merilyn from Pickering, Canada
