I concur with the others who have suggested Keukenhof Gardens (an absolute must) and the Museum Amstelkring. Some other suggestions include visiting the Museum Van Loon at Keizergracht 672 for the opportunity to tour a canal house which has been restored to its mid-18th century style, also see the Begijnhof neighborhood just off Spui tucked in behind the Amsterdam Historisch Museum, stop by Pompadour at Huidenstraat 12 an elegant chocolaterie-patisserie, and head to the top floor of the Metz store at the corner of the Keizersgracht and Leidsestraat for a cappucino and a good view of the old center city. You'll have no scarcity of choices for Indonesian food and we were pleased with our meal at Tempo Doeloe at Utrechtsestraat 75. And don't forget the Bloemenmarkt to purchase some fresh flowers for your room.
