|Subject: Georgia O'Keefe Museum in Santa Fe|
While in Santa Fe I visited the Georgia O'Keefe museum. We looked forward to the museum because on our last visit the museum was only weeks from opening, and most of the O'Keefe painting were in storage waiting for the new museum to open.
However, we found that much of the museum was dedicated to an exhibit of what I call avant-garde art. We did not understand much of the art. Many of the O'Keefe painting were not on display. The ones that were displayed were labeled with only a name and no chronological order or background material. Of course one could purchase an audio-tour for an extra $6 that I assume would give this information. We chose not to buy the audio-tour. Also, non citizens of New Mexico get to pay double the $4 admission fee.
