Hi, Fanny... Another book that's very helpful for choosing restaurants in Paris is The Food Lover's Guide to Paris by Patricia Wells... she also includes bakeries and cheese shops, tea rooms and cafés. It's a bit heavy to carry with you, but great for doing research. One restaurant that we've enjoyed is the Brasserie Balzar, right near the Cluny Museum. They have wonderful roast chicken & frites and funny, friendly waiters:

BRASSERIE BALZAR 49, rue des Ecoles (Cluny-La Sorbonne/St-Michel) Tel: 014 3541367

If you're in the Marais area, there's a wonderful boulangerie:

Au Levain du Marais at 32, rue de Turenne 75003 Paris Tel: 01 42 78 07 31
