|Subject: Accomodations near Cinque Terre|
Hey Felice -
We haven't stayed directly in the Cinque Terre, but spent 4 nights at Hotel Villa Edera (http://www.villaedera.com) in Moneglia and took the local train to the towns of the Cinque Terre. Mongelia was a small town, but bigger than the villages (meaning there was more than two choices for a restaurant and we could park our car). They have a pool and we paid 220.00L per night b & b in July 2001 (about $110UDS) for two adults and a three year old. We were quite happy with the accomodations and the town.
There is a nice hotel I have looked at on the internet and they also have a restaurant that is part of the Unione Ristoranti Buon Ricordo called the Royal Sporting Hotel. I didn't check their current prices, but there website is listed as www.royalsporting.com in my Buon Ricordo guide. For those of you who aren't familiar with that organization, go to http://www.buonricordo.it for more details. We've enjoyed some tasty meals!:)
Happy planning! Kristy S.F.
