Subject: Accomodations near Cinque Terre
Hey Felice -

We haven't stayed directly in the Cinque Terre, but spent 4 nights at Hotel Villa Edera ( in Moneglia and took the local train to the towns of the Cinque Terre. Mongelia was a small town, but bigger than the villages (meaning there was more than two choices for a restaurant and we could park our car). They have a pool and we paid 220.00L per night b & b in July 2001 (about $110UDS) for two adults and a three year old. We were quite happy with the accomodations and the town.

There is a nice hotel I have looked at on the internet and they also have a restaurant that is part of the Unione Ristoranti Buon Ricordo called the Royal Sporting Hotel. I didn't check their current prices, but there website is listed as in my Buon Ricordo guide. For those of you who aren't familiar with that organization, go to for more details. We've enjoyed some tasty meals!:)

Happy planning! Kristy S.F.
