Hi Ziners and in particular Dianne in Sydney,
Am sending this again as I forgot to include ZINE in the subject field and thought it may have been received as spam and kicked out for some of you since I haven't received any responses. I'm intrigued with your ability to travel for 10 and 9 months at a time while keeping a budget not more than had you stayed at home. My traveling companion and I, ages 60 and 57, are beginning to think about how we can travel for extended periods of time while keeping a budget of $50/day for the two of us. I was wondering if you would share more information regarding where you traveled for these periods of time and what you estimate your expenses to be on a daily basis? Any tips would be appreciated. By the way, I tend to go back and forth between Lonely Planet and Rough Guides. In fact, I discovered that both books for Portugal were invaluable providing different and complimentary information. Same for Belgium. Margo Brevard, NC |
