Can you tell me more about the pouch with the belt loop. I've seen them in Magellan but didn't think they looked big enough for anything other than credit cards. I've managed to get passports and tickets into my waist carrier, but when it's 95 in Rome, the passports get a little moist and the carrier uncomfortable. I have thought that this belt loop idea might make accessing money a little easier than my waist wallet.
I have always carried a purse with caution until our trip last year to Naples. We were advised by Giorgio to use caution in Naples and not to carry a purse whether or not there were valuables in it. I found I made out quite well, and actually might have travelled a little lighter because of that advice.
