Buon giorno Ziners!
I have used a simple money belt for several trips. I find it works very well. The belt is actually a zippered pouch with 1 inch strap that fastens with plastic fasterners. I wear it under my clothing all day. I put my passport, and extra cash and anything else that is paper into a zip lock bag to protect it against perspiration. Usually I forget that I have the thing on. I carry an old disposable wallet on me with enough spending cash for one day. Sometimes the money belt is a hassel if I have to get to a credit card, but there is usually semi-private place where I can step aside and get into the thing.
It beats getting ripped off by thieves and is a not less inconvenient than trying to replace stolen credit cards, passport, money, etc.
