Subject: Americans abroad
Hello Fellow Travelers:

Judging from the messages posted here, most Zine members are thoughtful and considerate travelers. However, there was (and probably still is) a great deal of controversy in Europe (France, Germany and Belgium) about the American invasion of Iraq. I do not want to get into a political discussion here as to whether it was right or wrong, but I am curious as to whether the issue has changed any of your travel habits. For example, several years ago a clothing company in Canada sent a Canadian flag pin with every blazer that it sold. Their advice was that Americans should wear the pin because Canadians did not offend anyone and it was good cover. What are you doing, if anything?
