Subject: Re: Travelling or staying home this year?
Hi Ziners,

Having just returned this morning from 5 days in New York City, I'd say travelling anywhere is worth it. We're exhausted and refreshed at the same time. We had a fabulous time and I'll pass along my report as soon as I unpack and do the laundry!

However, we are staying close to home this summer as is our habit, to enjoy two weeks at the cottage in the Muskoka's (100+ miles north of Toronto) to chill out, go shoeless and put on a clean t-shirt for dinner. Weekends are spent visiting friends' cottages or enjoying the great outdoors in Toronto including our four hour hikes up and down the Don Valley park system. In the fall, we'll be back in the U.S. - California in September, New York for the Marathon in early November and likely New Orleans in late November. Then we hunker down in TO for the Christmas season and start to plan next year's trips. We've already booked a mas in Languedoc for two weeks in September of 2004 and are considering building in a driving trip for 10 days in Northern Spain and Bordeaux before heading to the house. Closer to the time, we'll be asking lots of questions of fellow Ziners on what we should do on the road trip.

Lucy, back in rainy Toronto and already missing the buzz of NYC where the sun was shining
