Subject: Playing tourist in your own town
Hi Ziners,

Today Richard and I spent an enjoyable day in Toronto playing tourist. We visited a few historic buildings, part of Doors Open Toronto. This is a free weekend celebration of Toronto#s architectural heritage. We have been every year and have been amazed at the opportunity to see grand rooms, architects' offices, Victorian homes and more. http://www.doorsopen.org/

Then after lunch at a French restaurant we took the ferry to the Toronto Islands. We live close enough to go frequently but we haven't been over recently. During our coffee break on a restaurant patio, we watched the pesky Canada geese and their adorable goslings.

Tomorrow, more Doors Open, including a famous concert hall just reopened and lunch somewhere special!

I was wondering - if you played tourist in your town, what would you do?
