|Subject: Covered shoulders for Italian churches|
Hi fellow travelers,
A quick question about proper dress for visiting churches in Italy. My cousin does not want to give offense or be disrespectful so she wants to dress appropriately. But, she has a question as to what they mean by no bare shoulders. She has a summer dress that has no sleeves but has shoulder straps about 1.5 inches wide Is that considered a bare shoulder or a covered shoulder?
She's a relatively modest dresser, so I doubt if she would wear anything innapropriate.
Thanks, Raul (out and about Greater Seattle)
