Yesterday I spent the day hauling lumber across Frobisher Bay by snowmobile. My friend is building a cabin 50km up the bay on a picturesque island overlooking Frobisher Bay and Baffin Island.
Although late in the spring, Frobisher Bay is still frozen. Except for a few cracks of open water we had to skip over on our snowmobiles!
My friend worked me like a dog hauling his lumber supplies I still enjoyed being out in the great white north!
No place on earth can give you the isolation and adventure as Baffin Island. Nothing tastes as good as fresh teeth shattering cold meltwater. (especially after a long day of hauling wood:-)
